Job Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced farm vet to join our small, relaxed and professional team at an independent, 100% farm-animal practice.

You’ll work alongside four vets, supported by a full-time TB tester and a vet tech/TB tester. The rota is 1 in 4, with a day off in lieu after a weekend on call.

The caseload

Our work is mainly beef-focused. Our dairy clients are predominantly block-calving, and there is a reasonable amount of sheep work too. There are no alpacas.

The traditionally quieter summer months are filled with gamebird work. Previous experience isn’t necessary, as full in-house training will be provided.

A small amount of TB testing is required, but our dedicated testers carry most of the burden.
